tiny tim 22
i had the same problem with s300 ,the valve at the end of quick fill was leaking ..fill it up again and tap valve at end with small hammer ..be carefull ..small tap ..there might be a bit of grit in the valve at the end and its not seating properly..wet your finger with a bit of spit and put on the valve to see if its leaking Quote Link to post
maty j 6
if your filling it up from empty ypu need to cock it or the air will come out. a safety feature or something like that. Quote Link to post

It might be a bit of grit in the valve. If the valve is knackered it'll cost you £6.50 to buy a new one from Blackpool Air Rifles. You can buy them from any Air Arms stockist but Blackpool have a picture on their website. £7 is average. Blackpool Air Rifles. Air Arms Accessories Scroll down to the snap connector kit and price up the bits you need. You will notice that they do the male parts with two different diameters, 16mm and 17mm. If you get the wrong diameter (i.e it's too big) you won't be able to screw the valve cover back on your rifle. Simply measure across the flats of your existing valve with a spanner. Unscrew the old one from your rife and replace it with new one but for f**ks sake make sure the rifle is empty first! If you're not happy doing the work yourself consult your local gunshop but note the prices as a few of my local shops (I won't name and shame seeing as Internet libel now comes with five figure fine) charge alot of money to the unaware. It's a simple job if that's all it is and is well within the scope of the home gun smith. Quote Link to post

ChrisJones 7,975
Sounds about right that mate. Main thing is you're up and shooting again. You'll have to tell us some lies now about how much you're taking with that excellent rifle! Quote Link to post
