Guest Side by Side Posted March 25, 2006 Report Share Posted March 25, 2006 hi all i wear glasses all the time and they really do my head in when its raining and i am shooting because they get rain all over the bloody lenses and get steemed up ect..... i have tried shooting with out them and do not feels comfatable because i cna noty alwys make thigs out.... i was wondering if anyone else has this problem or had this problem and can throw some light on the subject on how i can stop this from happening..... would contact lenses make a difference??? or can you get something put on the lences to stop this happening??? thanks happy hunting SBS Quote Link to post

Vision Express do the monthly disposables at around £15 a month and includes all the cleaning solutions and free eye tests. Also replacements if you loose any (which is a god send if you play rugby!) I played tight and loose head and apart from losing a few lenses here and there I had no problems apart from that. They're piss easy to clean and maintain and after a couple of days wear you'll wonder how you went on without them. The only problem I had playing rugby was if that if I lost a lens it completely screwed my depth perception... well that was my excuse anyway! Quote Link to post

Guest Side by Side Posted March 25, 2006 Report Share Posted March 25, 2006 There are a few options really,you could wear a baseball hat or something with a peak or attatch some little wipers to your glasses but i think the best optician would be contact lenses,ive worn them for years,only problem ive really had is when i worked in a kitchen they tended to dry out fast so i had to get some with moisture in them and another problem is forgetting youve got them in and rubbing your eyes and them falling out and also taking them out when your drunk,they're never in the case in the morning lol yes i think that i am going to get contacts i think thats its the only option at the moment..... happy hunting SBS Quote Link to post
