Does anyone know if a dogs make up can be determined through a dna test. I have have been led to believe there is a test by a mouth swab.. Thanks

Not 100% sure but I thought you could do DNA tests and using CanAims ( ancestry informative markers) determine the breeds in your dogs make up, but don't take my word for it speak to experts.

A friend of mine breeds working Labs and got Sire Dam and Pup DNA tested when a customer questioned a dogs pedigree. So I know that it must be possible. I'm stalking with him Saturday and Sunday this weekend. Do you want me to ask him how much it cost and who did it for him?
