Hywel 53
Do any of you ladies/gents ferret sand dunes or areas which the ground contains a fair amount of sand? I know that some of the welsh lads on here have been working various dunes and was wondering is it difficult to dig to your ferrets, with the potential for tubes to collapse? :search: I only tend to work woodland and fields, so therefore haven't worked such areas as dunes.... Mitch 0
Seems pretty dangerous. But just see how sturdy it is when ya netting up, then determine whether or not its a good idea. If ya have to dig, it aint gunna be hard Good luck with it let us know how you get on... Quote Link to post
baz 464
i used to do all my ferreting as a kid on sand dunes, sometimes digging 6ft holes. it was easy digging. one time i was upside down getin the ferret about 5 1/2 ft. i asked my mates to pull me up and it caved in, i f***in shit it, they couldn,t get me out, luckily some guy was passing and lynched me out. i never panicked so much ever Quote Link to post
