rats in the garden

Recommended Posts

got a problem with rats they are living in my walls ..i have found the rat holes in my garden ..my qustion is if i put my jill down whats the chances of her coming bk out the same way ....little ba******s have chewed my tv wires lol
Rats at this time of year run, like any other time of year run, only if the critter corners a rat will it do it's best, then run, if your jill is dynamite it may end up with a few bites and holes, but then the rats will run!

As long as you are sure you can get her out without knocking your walls down, give her a try! (but with a terrier to help!) ;)

how about using a locator to track the ferret! or just use traps or poison the little rodents

The traps and poison is far too sensible an idea to use! :D

backfill the holes, this will tell you if they area coming and going. if they are out and about the garden set traps mk4 with covers. snare them if you know how, or shoot the bit*h next door with the bird table

im going to phone rentakill tomorrow thought i wouid save my self the touble and use my ferrets first but to see if they get rid of them lmao

if your anywhere near poole in dorset then save your money i could lend you some fenn traps, i find companies charge a hell of alot of money for doing nothing as they will only lay poison and after a while if the rats are only consuming small amounts they can become imune to the poison, you should change poisons reguly with the rodents as there imune systems cant keep up with the toxins in them.

The poisons need to be constantly topped up, (daily to start with) untill they stop being taken.

Only when the rats get a break from some of the better baits on the market, (not being topped up enough) do they get immune?. (i'm still convinced at this point they are not immune, i think they suss there is a problem with the bait, and seek other food, not get immune to it!)

top marks for getting a proffessional in, but your posting on a hunting forum, that has a pest control section, and quite a few pesties, would'ent it be a better idea to ask here, if anyones in your area, might even save you a few quid :hmm:
