Guest rexdigger
got a homemade jobbie made out of a 4 foot piece of 5 inch angle with holes cut in it for the stakes to go into made out of 30 mm round bar
mattydski 560
They work, but are pretty hard work for insertion and retrieval. But thats probably you last worry when it's your only option.. Matt
Guest joe ox
blackntan, There £95 including delivery from anchor supplies. Guest joe ox
They work, but are pretty hard work for insertion and retrieval. But thats probably you last worry when it's your only option.. Matt I found the stakes easy enough to hammer in with a heavy mel. If the ground is really hard dont hammer them all the way down and only use 4,it still works fine that way and there easier to pull out.

The army are supposed to use the plate and pin type even in the desert using more than one in front of the other if a solid pull isnt strong enough using only 1.
