moses 5
well the distance you can get all depends on what you are shooting a decent pcp or old springer. with a pcp you will need to be within at least 30-40 yds. lamp on aim shoot dont mess about the longer it takes you to take aim the more likely he is to do a runner especially if the land is lamped often.. hop this helps Happy Hunting Quote Link to post

The one 8,483
You will know if the rabbits sitting happy and you can move in a bit or if its showing it's restless and getting ready to bolt and your going to have to take a shot or let it go because its out of range Quote Link to post
hughesey1552 0
ryans top tip .... aim between the two red dots lol I find it hard to guage distance in the dark, always seem to look like they are farther away than they really are. Good luck, Ryan Quote Link to post

spike 0
I was going to say, make sure you have a pellet loaded My mate took 3 attempts (cocked? safety on? safety off? etc) before he realised he hadn't loaded his ranger this morning By the time he realised the rabbit had wandered off Edited November 14, 2008 by spike Quote Link to post
whippeter69 88
Good strong winds help, makes the rabbit squat more in the grass Quote Link to post
