Matt 160
Drop 'fishfish' a PM. He has a couple of nice little project knives on the go at the moment - top quality handmade stuff for cheap money....
Hob&Jill 258
Ive got a buck alpha hunter folder and its a quality item. That and my Helle Fjellkniven are both absolutly a1. Both are great but if I had to choose it would be the Helle for gutting and general use. Holds a stupidly sharp edge too.

maty j 6
I've tried the opinels and they go blunt too easy IMO, take a good edge though and also rust at the first sight of moisture. I use a Buck protege now and that's spot on. Holds and takes a good edge. Small enough with about a 3 inch blade, rubber type handle and about 30 quid now I think. Check ATTACC, last time I checked they had the mini version on offer.

scrubworm 0
pity about the folder as i would have recomended buck vanguard regardless of price ,however maybe try a buck kalinga pro ,can get them in a folder i think ,also in s30v steel which in my opinion should be a very good steal,i hunt with 6 to 10 other hunters ,most have got buck vanguards ,we mostly hunt sambar deer so all knives really get used hard.good luck.
