Unique S410 Silencer

I have almost finished making this silencer for a customer. He wanted something unique that I wouldn't make again so as well as the brass ring at the front I added six brass spots at the rear and four chamfered rings on the front, I normally do three here.

 

The camera doesn't really show just how shiny it is but it shows up the brass with more contrast than it has. Just looking at it the brass and ally are both so shiny that you can't tell where one ends and the other begins. It's the first time I have tried doing the brass spots and I think they have come out really well.

Thanks for the comments. My silencers are quieter than any others or your money back. Silencer these days are getting so good that they are all amazingly quiet but I have never been asked for a refund. Have a look at the website in my signature for prices as I don't want to blatantly advertise on here.

Would you say yours are the quietest for High FAC rifles ?EG Rapid at 45FTLBS what xtra length would it be on a rapid ..

They look nice them mate. Do you make em on a lathe? Im thinkin of making one mysele, could you give any tips on what to use to fil with?

 

Ps, the aluminium wil come up betteq to a mirqor finish with oil and the finest wet n dry you can get, works a treat for me! Ryan

Donnyc - Sorry but I am only licenced to make silencers for sub 12ft/lbs air guns.

 

Pete - I haven't been sea or coarse fishing this year but I am hoping to get a trip in this weekend now I am over my burst appendix.

my s410 has a rivet put through the silencer it looks like how would i get it off and what silencer would i need?

It is an Allen screw not a rivet, all you need is an Allen key.

so if i buy one of yours it will just go straight on no messing around?

and it will deffo be quieter because mines not that quiet at the moment with the air arms silencer on?
