SPAR 2
Pasted from another forum There is a new threat to our much loved partridge and others, obviously there is a new treatment for seed grain on the market from Bayer Crop Science called "Rubin" which can be highly toxical for partridge and pheasant! on a shoot virtually all partridge disappeared within a week of sowing this years winter wheat, he is a vet and asked the farmers what they changed from last year and they told him about this new treatment and he looked over the chemicals and one is highly toxical to all birds with a muscle stomach (all galliformes). After this I contacted our government agent responsible for this and he told me that all over my county gamebirds have virtually disappeared and that they have thought about various possibillities already but not yet about this one. Please advise all your local farmers about the dangers of this new treatment, otherwise you can equally poison them. can anyone shed a bit of light on this!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote Link to post

Sorley x 32
I suspect this is just a load of balony. I've nevere heard of it. Plus I can't find owt about it anywhere. Rather than just posting such stuff, have a look around the Internet and see if you can find anything out. You have got the Internet at your fingertips after all. Easy enough. ATB Quote Link to post
