well heres my bit...

 

i like running pups on..i get more out of sseing a young dog progress than seeing a seasoned dog do what they always do.i love the unknown bit,,the entering the expectations...

 

so in a way i often think of selling one of my older ones,if i did it would be big money as think about it, 5 or 6 pups at 200 quid each all that feeding,,all that time and then 5 bullets to shoot the others as i decent dog is very very fukin hard to get,,none of this bollox where everyone has a single handed fox dog ect ect its shit,,,

 

if i was to sell a dog why not ask a decent price? should i just give them away for a cpl hunderd quid so any idiot can afford it? like f**k.. i serious man will pay serious money for a good dog taken on trial and proven... i know of several pups out the same breeding of mine that sold for £1000 to £1500 at 14 mnths old unentered!!!

 

youpay ya money or you build some kennels buy some pups get out of the chair and away from the computer and try them..get rid of the shit and try some more.till you have a dog that you aint wondering about the outcome anymore as you allready know it........

put it this way my lurcher is no world beater or my other 4 dogs, iv recently lost my job and im selling a few bits and bobs (airguns, locators) etc but i dont make excuses like people 'iv lost my job the dogs have to go' BEFORE ANY THESE DOGS GO ANYWHER ILL SELL WHATEVER I OWN!!! and if i was on rock bottom because i lost my job id giv them to a few mates untill i get a job and money and back on track id never sell a dog due to loosing a job. but anyway if someone flashed £1000 infront of my face id laugh at them, my old bitch only had 2/3 years left in her and i wouldnt even sell her for that money i simply wouldnt sell a dog full stop and if i did it would be pups and theyd only me about £30 each and thats if i needed money to cover food costs and theyd ALL be to local dog men for a good working life!!!!!!!!! people who make money shouldnt be on here they should be breeding pets not working dogs even tho half of them are PETS made out to be working dogs

a good lurcher is priceless, and thankfully because of this lurchers have remained healthy and fit for their purpose dogs unlike many other breeds of working dogs that have been used as cash cows and suffer badly from being inbred and just generally shit. look at all the fat labradors or f*****g mental collies you see out and about or german shepards that cant walk properly or are over aggressive due to being over bred for the moronic masses who want working dogs for pets and have no intention of ever doing anthing with their dogs exceptletting it sit on the sofa. a real lurcherman breeds good working dogs to be worked and to be good at what it does not simply for the money.
