Foot prints, poo and holes, who's are they?

Recommended Posts

Went for a walk down our local woods today and came across two den or set entrances. One of them must be fresh because the sand looks like it has just been escavated, which was the reason I noticed.

I've walked through this wood loads of times and never seen this entranced, I went for a closer look and noticed the other hole across the stream. I took some pics of the holes, a few foot prints I found and some poo.

Have a look and tell me what animal lives there, I wouldn't mind getting some good wildlife photography done during the spring, these holes will be perfect to aim the lense at.

The footings are fox and the first picture shows where the fox has slipped slightly in the mud.The hole was dug by a badger as badgers dig an ovel hole where a fox digs a round hole ;)

The crap is fox, badgers crap at a latrine in pits and it looks like humane crap ;)
