cyclonebri1 8
Yeah, gun fit IS more important but a different subject mate. A personal recommendation would be an over and under action for a first gun, primarily for getting familiar with having a live weapon out in the field. Very easy to prove to yourself it is safe and not hiding a shell. Very important for a beginner and just as productive in the field. A semi or pump will have up to 3 shells hiding in the action or chamber and we all know how much there is to learn when starting out / and forget although many go this rout first. Nice if a fellow shooter can take you out with them. Anyway whatever route you take be safe & enjoy. FF Actually, I think you are totally wrong. Not meaning to be offensive, but, the type of gun is secondary if it doesn't come to the shoulder as it should, well, it doesn't matter what gun type you are shooting IE, what the hell the type of gun you shoot, if it ain't pointin' in the right direction, Yeah? Imperfection 0
If you go for a semi-bear in mind they need a bit more cleaning.Takes me around 45 minutes to do a complete strip & clean, but i dont find it a chore. Most important thing is to keep the gas ports open otherwise cartridges wont feed into chamber from magazine properly.A cotton bud soaked in bore cleaner is ideal for poking through the holes. I suppose semi's are like Marmite-you either love em' or loathe em'! I love em' though! Quote Link to post
