bigphil 0
At some point the mothers of the young will try to push there young away when they have had enough, and think they should be flying the nest as they would in the wild. Is the jill doing the attacking a parent from this year? And does she attack young ferrets, (This years?) They are all this years and they aint related (mother and daughter, sisters etc they are all from different kits). Thanks for the advice guys, im going to leave them to it but ill be there just incase it gets abit out of hand. I will let you's know later on to see how they got on... Fingers crossed Edited November 10, 2008 by bigphil Quote Link to post

bigphil 0
Good news.... I did try them that day when i said but still it got very violent very quickly so broke them up and seperated again. But went out ferreting the other day with just 2 of my jills 1 being the attacker (SAVAGE), was out all day got back savage was well nackered so thought this was a good opportunity to stick them together so i did, They seem to be ok to start with savage being so F**ked and couldnt be arsed so i left them over night, went back in in the morn there were sleeping together cuddle up in the nest box no problems. This was about 4/5 days ago now and they are still together today . Ive even put all 4 together now and are getting on fine, keeping each other warm in there cold winter nighs lol. Quote Link to post
