THE POACHER 13
not to sure about the lines i think they stem back from [stobbart] but i dont really care about lines thats all i know the parents of the 2 are 100% digging dogs. these 2 are very mature for their age and raring to go so perhaps ill give them a look at the end of the season we have to see Quote Link to post

Guest AngelicAcid
Years ago my brother kept a type very similar to your two Poach(1970s). They were direct from a bloke in Northumberland who had some good terriers, they had a lot of cowan blood in them, i might be wrong in thinking but does stobbart not have cowan blood from a good few years back, i might be completley off track. My brothers best dogs were called Mel and Rats who were worked very heavy,And both were very very hard fox killers. Quote Link to post

Guest AngelicAcid
My brothers dogs were B ant T and wire wool coat, i can still remember them. one was killed in a kennel fight by a Golden labrador. I had a nephew to Rats , a smooth lakey type red dog. Ill try and find out but im sure thay came from the Durham area. Quote Link to post
