Rubyred666 8
Theres good and bad dogs no matter what the cross is and you only get out what you put in, so its all in breeding and the training. Ruby is 2 years old, excellent at marking setts and stone walls, works any rough and loves water and jumps for fun. I know theres many better dogs out there but Ruby is the all round dog I want for shooting, ferreting whatever! Quote Link to post

Tommy 9
I've always been around Saluki based lurchers and they definitly suite me !!!! The dog in the pic is the sire to my currrent bitches and was 5 years old when the pic was taken. The dog spent a bit of time at our house, when its owner was away and then when he was building new kennels. For some reason, i dont know the dogs owner selt the dog on to a genuine dog man not far away from us and when i asked him about the dog he was more than pleased. When he first got the dog it was out of shape and needed some fitness so it's new owner gave it a few nights out on the lamp, he'd never been out on the lamp before and said he took to the lamp like a duck to water !!! The dog was a real genuine dog he was used mainly for coursing but with his new owner he was used on the lamp for both rabbits and fox. I'm afraid them 'THICK' Saluki crosses will do for me !!!! All the best Tommy Quote Link to post
