Best Rabbiting Lurcher Or Lurcher X

Im looking for a dog that i can use when out ferreting.. i have no previous experience with lurchers or training them so need to keep that in mind.

any suggestions?

if it is just ferreting and lamping rabbiots, id say whippetxgrey, small but biggenough. but that isnt always the case. get something that may be able to take a fox ro a hare, as in time you WILL change your mind about just rabbits. i know i have not regretting my desion but could have maby gotten something with more of a jaw

beddy whippets top the list for me,i have one with a bit of collie in it,also found that if you get the recall and retrieving down a good dog will do the rest on his own
