Hi guys and gals, just wanting pics of pure and x breed salukis.

 

How do you find them as a breed?

 

Are they easy to train, loyal ect?

 

Do you prefer a pure saluki or saluki x?

 

Your opinions appreciated.

hear's some pics of the one i had he was comeing on good then got hit and killed by a car he was pure sulkie you would be surprised how fast thay are and ther stay is some thing else thay can run all day or night

hes my 91/2 month old saluki/greyhound pup scooby just give him a few squaters on the lamp nailed most of them.

Good looking dog lewis, whats he been like to train compared to other dogs youve owned?

there is nothing wrong with a pure saluki .just as long as they are ran on open flat land then you can have a lot of fun coursing with one they never no when to stop running good luck with this topic

 

 

 

 

heres my 8/12 month saluki grey collie chased a few rabbits caught most ive put it on two hares and i has caught its doing fantastic

its the same as any dog it depends on were you run the dog im sure ppl would agree

a saluki x they are very obidient and can easliy be trained.

they need a lot of exercise and regular walking cause they such a good stanimia dog!

id recomend one anyway!

well,i've got one(admittadly only a quarter saluki)and he's my first experience with them. good points are... good feet,good drive,unbeleivable stamina and speed.very unaggresive to other dogs. bad points are...very slow to start! very timid with people(as a pup,not too bad now)also sometimes runs on too far when a course should be over!it's mot hunting up ,ts not knowing when to give up!lol(ianb has obviously never seen a decent one run!just read his posts and i think a 3 legged dog will run further than he will on here!!)
