THE WHIPPET

Recommended Posts

Did he get started at an early age? if its only the odd yip, he might grow out of it.

Good luck with him.

Frank.

no mate had a few easy rabbits at 10mth and the odd yip but seems more frustrated now..

Same thing happened to me a while ago with a whippet pup i had. Did all the right things, but, she got worse as she got older.

I gave her to a good mate, that uses her for bushing and does not mind her yapping when chasing.

Can happen to any lurcher or whippet in my opinion.

Frank.

only way back, not sure if the laguna stuff is still around?

laguna lines are still around, mrs mckay the orgional laguna kennels died a while back leaving it to her daughter which has persued in the show scene from the last i knew, not sure how they were showing though :icon_eek: ,i think its a good thing whippets are strongly worked still, ive seen lines from well known show stock(going back generations and generations) and they havnt a bloody clue, just my opinion but i think theres a difference to say a laguna and some show lines its a great thing that what a dog is intended for is still being used, and a sorry state for SOME of the show whippets thin coated, wearing jackets shivering in the ring!
