I have one stainless steel flask and one pewter flask and they're both a bit gungy inside, both have only been used for various fruit gin concoctions. redlorryyellowlorry 27 Posted November 7, 2008 Report Share Posted November 7, 2008 what i do with my flask is fill it 1 quarter full with sea salt add a little water just to dampen the salt replace the lid and shake like f**k for a few minutes.rinse it out with hot water and it should sparkle.
