hi all

was just thinking, i take with me a water bottle full of coarse, for my ferrets to have a drink during the day when they are working, do any of you take your ferret a drink,

Never took any water for them, but only once have they drunk when they have been put down next to it when out, after 100's of times offering it to them!

i take a small water bottle out with me which is clipped to their box when travelling & during the day i give them a liver, then put them back to work..

Always take water for mine & malt paste to give them a bit when i have a break meself.End of the day i'll drop a rabbit kidney or two in for them each for the long journey home....

take a dog water bottle, for the dogs and ferrets, plus they get rabbit liver half way through the day,

I always offer mine water after they have been busy underground but they never seem interested.

Try and find one of those RAC dog travel water things, I have one, its got a seal on it and a bowl attached, you just sqeeze and out it comes

No harm in taking some , its there to offer if they want it and its not much carriage either

sometimes, if im on an inland farm. I just take a small bowl, as there are cattle water troughs dotted all over the place

I always take water, sometimes they drink, sometimes they don't, I keep to the same routine all the time, you never know when the sun may warm up your carrier.

usualy im near a dam. and at 12 or 12 30 i take the ferrets to it and let the dog swim and ythem drink. if thay dont drink water ther thay have it as soon as thay get home
