Flying Ferrets 0
I seriously doubt it would work, and milk and sugar is about the worst thing you can give your ferrets, so really... please don't! Edited November 6, 2008 by Flying Ferrets Quote Link to post

dean 29 27
First time i've ever heard that one complete bullox, whoever told you that is talking out of there a e.... Whoever told you that is trying to make your ferrets ill mate. I know a few boys who feed bread and milk, their ferrets always got the sh*ts, cant tell them though. Dont deserve to keep a gold fish. ianrob 2
Is it true that if you give your ferrets plenty of milk mixed with sugar that when or if they bite a rabbit down a hole they will let go??? As apparently it will taste funny Or is it just another tale. I have noticed that ferrets fed exclusively on dry feed, or in the bad old days on bread and milk, have less interest in eating whole rabbit, so possibly that is where this notion sprung. They will however, kill it very dead very quickly, if they catch it, just the same. The two ferrets I have just now are only getting to the point where they'll happily eat rabbit, after being raised on James Welbeloved. When I was younger, and I used to get about more, shooting rabbits with a moderated .22 rimfire, my ferrets were fed rabbit, or birds, and I feel they were worse for laying up. Then the individual ferret's personality and traits might have been different. Food for thought though. As mentioned earlier though, ferrets love milk, it gives them the trots, so is a no no. Guest Mass_G3nocide
Thank you all for your advice i will not be giving them Milk. Some people just feel as if they have to contribute to something they know nothing about. Quote Link to post
mooster 1
Why not go to your local library or pet shop and read a book that tells you how to feed a ferret? Or look on this site for feeding tips etc. Quote Link to post
