Back Stabbath 1
his is my reply to the other thread - If you want best of the best, anything like Canidae Natural, Timberwolf Organic, Burns is good... Anything like that, with wholesome ingredients and no filler. Best of all is raw food. Stay away from foods with colours in them, or BHA and BHT as preservatives - apparantly they are carcinogenic which is pretty sh*t as a lot dog foods have them in em. Don't bother with Pedigree, Gain, Beta, Purina, Iams, Eukanuba or any supermarket food. Royal Canin is a little better, but nowhere near the qualtiy it should be to match the price. I don't like Hills Science diet either. I like Red Mills as a mixer, and I like Burns. The best diet you could give is raw food. But mixing in some high quality food, or even something cheaper like Red Mills is still really healthy. Main thing is, don't listen to a word they say in petshops, learn to read ingredients labels and understand them. Edited November 18, 2008 by Back Stabbath
