Tiff 36
As the months are devoted to a variety of sporting pursuits, maybe a charity that also benefited a broad spectrum would be good? I would think that a charity that benefits all sorts of dogs or all sorts of hunting or all sorts of medical/childrens charity would be the best, rather than a breed or illness specific charity? Not that lurchers aren't entitled to help of course, as I know the lurcher charities need a lot of help, but it might encourage more help from everyone (and not just the lads looking for T&A pics). Just a thought Edited November 11, 2008 by His Wife
forrest 12
i think BADA is a very good choice, anyone of us could be bitten by a tick and end up with the horrible life threatening diseases they carry.it could be anyone of us while out fishing, walking the dogs, stalking etc. The girl who runs the BADA charity is seriously ill and she got bitten while out on her horse. Guest bullterrier
Dee there was a guy that use to post on here and a few boards plus write in the EDRD magazine called GregD.He died without insurance ,about a year ago and left a wife and 2 kids.Thought this would be a good way to raise some money before Christmas, and supply good quality kit at a good price for hunting guys, everyone's a winner. Bryan i think things like this should get some money we never know when it will happen to us...john

labsnlurchers 39
Photographer didnt get back in touch for a new date so farlap has kindly offered to do our photos. Going to arrange a date in june. its going to be ready by mid august hopefully aslong as no one lets me down. As soon as me and farlap have sorted a date where he isnt busy in june i will let you all know. Anyone who might struggle with getting to the photoshoot let me know and if your not the other side of the country i might be abl to help. It may be that world hunters might need to take some photos of his freinds and pass them onto me. The web designer who was going to design the calendar has been banned off the site so that is something else i need to look into. The bank account is a no go, they wanted names and addresses and signatures of secratary, treasurer, chairman etc and minutes from our last meeting So im looking into setting a paypal account up for the sponsorship and the calendar takings, might ask the charities to help with that one.
