shell 42 Posted November 6, 2008 Report Share Posted November 6, 2008 Childbirth... and no, you don't forget it!!! I'm just glad it only lasted an hour! Almost on a par though... I had my toe nails and nail beds removed on both big toes the other year... it was winter, kennels house was freezing, running out of logs, so I hobbled out to the log shed, with both feet bandaged up, hardly able to walk with the pain, socks and sandals on (couldn't get anything remotely substantial on my feet), got the barrow and chucked a few logs in... gets back to the house and this huge mother of a log fell out of the barrow and landed right on my big toe... I have never screamed so loud... the pain... jesus almighty, it floored me. Best thing was I saw it happen in slow motion... the log started to go, I stretched forwards... arm out to try and stop it... just touched it slighty then THUD... ARGHHH. kash 1 Posted November 6, 2008 Report Share Posted November 6, 2008 had a brick wall fall on my leg & cracked the shin bone when i was 10 and the top part of your foot where it bends you could put your finger in & touch the bone without touching any flesh they didn't even stitch it. warming up at a new dojo for tae kwon do, doing some stretches & kicks the caretaker had shut all curtains and i found the base of the fire extinguisher poping open the side of my big toe the funny part of that was walking to the busstop cause no one to give me a lift to the hospital when i got there this black nurse asked me to drop my trousers for a jab not a chance so she went away & came back with this blonde it was trousers down i can tell you, the black nurse only grabbed the bloody needle rammed it in my leg & said that will teach you . oh and trapping my leg between a lorry & a trailer when we was packing the goose fair up early hours on a sun morn still got the dent in my leg apart from the odd scrape since not to much touch wood Quote Link to post Share on other sites

MR TEA POT 1,287 Posted November 6, 2008 Report Share Posted November 6, 2008 When i tried to make a genie with a firework,don't know if any tried them as well,you get a few fireworks snap them so the powder comes out,then when you have a big enough pile light it and you get a big puff of smoke.Well i tried to light this big pile i had and the match kept going out,so being young and thick i huddled over the powder so the match would not go out,next thing i know my hair on fire, my eyebrows had gone as well as my eyelashes i could not open my eyes the skin on my face was burning like feck,all inside my nose and mouth was burnt to a crisp. Got took to hospital,where the nurses tried to cool my skin down,the fecking pain was unbearable.The next day i had blisters in my nose and mouth,i was in agony for a few weeks..I looked in the mirrior to see my hairless head,it looked just like a chicken egg not 1 hair left on it .
