first goose, on munlochy bay, 40 years ago,

culbookie, nigg, montrose basin, the tay, west coast, islay, solway,

ireland,wexford slobs, toughbrochney bogs, you name it i might have been there!

used to mud skip on the tay, with a friend who is now a very well respected head keeper!

we used 20 silhouette decoys each, and both used ps olt calls, still have mine,

could blow soft mallard, hard, pinks, grey's we learned to call pretty good.

 

i could tell you about some obscene numbers we had ,but remember there were many blank days.

i'm not trying to do the peter scott thing! but i just like to watch them now.
