Westy76 546
i would dought it very much staffies far to slow for lamping rabbits You'd be surprised mate yes i would be surprised , they maybe get the odd rabbit once in a while but a full blood staffie catching rabbits consistently on the lamp i would have to see that to believe it atb Haha seeing is believing I suppose. robwelsh 354
im not saying staffies (irish, old tyme or pits cant) but american bulldog just seems to be taking the piss my american bulldog very slim and agile im not saying she catces all the time and they are faster than the short fat british bulldog i know what ones your on about, my mate got one, far to big, bulky, and it nearly trips over his head in all fairness, my mate got a short legged staff about 16 tts, very muscler and large head, from the cross guns lines, and that makes that american bulldog look standing still, yet toby 16tts, has chased a rabbit up the local park field, and come nowhere near it...so seeing IS actually believing i suppose, just my opinion. BULL 96
It depends on the staff IMHO. I've got two, both pedigrees - one was incredibly fast in her prime and would probably have gotten plenty of rabbits had I only tried her (doh!) she is the longer legged, more aristocratic type staff. The other is nowhere near as fast- too muscular and thick set to be quick. Quote Link to post
BULL 96
Aristocratic do you mean it wore a suit and bowler hat Quote Link to post
blackstaff 488
you'll never be able to take a stafford lamping, let alone get it to retrieve :whistling: :whistling: Quote Link to post
