a question for working whippet owners

Hello there can anyone with working whippets tell me if my dog pup is a good height for his age six months he's a ltl over 18 inches. he's from soty sam lines his father glen to sootys grand doughter. I worm him reguarly he gets 1 tripe a day haert and about 3 to 4 rabbits and a bowl of beta greyhound he helps him self to when he wants. what size do you think he'll make please only people with these whippets not silly ltl boys who no somebody with one any comments would be gratefull cheers BB

I would say though,that it sounds like you could start feeding him a bit of beef scraps and some lamb breast and every other day some meaty bones(beef brisket bones or lamb neck bones)just to give him a bit more chance to fill out a bit.Tripe is ok but it is about 85% water so not something that will give a lot to a dog(especially a working dog)heart is ok as is any other offal,but,in my opinion it should be fed at the same sort of % that you would find it in a carcase ie. 15-20% of the whole meal.Don't mean to preach mate,and all the best with him for the future..............Martin. :thumbs:
