Recommended Posts

was out at weekend for a dig. went to a good place to find it dug up and trenched every were. so was fairly pissed off as this has wrecked a good earth, just wondering if this is just pure lazyness or do the people think that quarry will come back, or is this just young lads that dont know what there at. went on to get a dig later on that day but it left me thinking what kind of messers are out there.

Its lazy and stupid. Done back properly you can dig a good earth twive a year. Pure ignorance wrecking everyone elses sport. chances are these people have already given up digging and moved onto a new phase. Another pet heat i have is once dug a deep spot fill t with massive rocks. What happens if you have to dig there again? What part of ireland are you

I no how you feel mate, its full of fekers like that around my way mate. I have just been to check on a few stone drains that always hold when

its dry. Everyone knows it around here. Anyway some twats have tryed to work ther dogs there and opened the drain at every 10ft and left it open. It won't hold all season now. I'll have to go back and put it right. Some folk give proper terrier men a bad name!!!!!

Seems to be happening everywhere. I'm from the south of Ireland and i'm not lying when i say we back fill earths nearly every week. The lads are lazy as well as stupid. For some reason there seems to be alot of young lads down my way who were not shown how to dig properly and i reckon this could be the problem also. Therefore they don't know right from wrong

Best comment on this site I think. I could not agree more I am only 23 but have been around digging since I was ten days old. I still think I know little and always will. But I see some amount of young lads now who get a dog for stupid money at a show or through a friend of a friend. They arrive on and know it all. Know a couple like this. Best trick for these people is to get them to handle the game and not let there big bull cross do it, watch them go green. This sorts the people with experince very quickly. Or other way is when they arrive out looking fresh saying they dug 15 foot day before on there own in half hour. I love listening to these people, who needs Father Ted for comedy.

fox hunter here i cannot understand for the life of me and all the good men that dig why some men cannot put the ground back how they got it in the first place it is only drawing attention to unwanted parties it doesnt take long to backfill the holes and leave it the way you got it as i have come across many sets like this in my eyes only amatures leave sets like this
