what scope?

ok need some help here i'm getting my self a Theoben Rapid mk2 at last:clapper: and i've got a to pick a scope to come with it (free) and don't really no what one to go for as never used any of them so if any one could help me out

AGS Sapphire 3-9x40 Mil Dot

i would go for the AGS sapphire meself like my mate has got 1 on his hw98 good clear scope he has had no problems yet an he has had it about 2 years it holds the zero well and the mil dots help a lot :thumbs:

Curious why such high magnification on an air rifle...I would definately go for one of the lower power versions!!

i would go for a secondhand tasco ag with jap optics mate. there front pa and 3x9x50 which is more then you need for air rifle. they have big field of view and the optics are stunning. john darling use to use one on his rapid.

 

i had one and when new where £225 pound. they can be had for £80 to 90 now
