Guest MOLLY
An update. Finally got Millet to do more work Leccy nearly all finished, all of the decorating was done but ive had to do it again due to the new electrics. The pantry kitchen is finished as is the lounge and bathroom since the last time i posted. The other kitchen and my bedroom were finished anyway. Also got carpets and lino now Wouldnt dare put up a picture of the spare room as it has even more stuff in to try to find a place for Garden has come on leaps and bounds and will progress over the years. Ive got my 1st stash of home grown tetties in the shed. Ive been in the cottage now for the coldest of the winter and the hottest of the summer and i love it more and more each day. The loft has just been lagged so hopefully this year ill be able to move away from the fire in the worst of the winter Im the unofficial farm labourer, got the nicest farmer in the world as a landlord. Come spring i will be lambing again, im dog feeder when they go on holiday and sheep herder when he needs help in the yard. Ive got cartblanche to go wherever i want to on the land. The game keeper wants me to dog in & beat and is ok about me lamping, ive just got to keep out of the field with the young game birds in. The beagles and mink hounds hunt on this land, and i can watch from the farm. Ive got a 'local' now, the landlady is also the best in the world, the bar meals are just TOO big to eat, and she will plate me some food up to take homeif i dont want to go into the pub. Im allowed to take any of the dogs in, all of which she makes a huge fuss of. The local shop is a 10 mile round trip but has the best farmhouse bread and home made buscuits. Dont pay water rates. The downsides...the nearest takeaway is a 14mile round trip, (can live without takeaways) Coal is so expensive now, in the winter is costs about £60 per month for coal, and the fire doesnt stay on all night so its bloody freezing at 5.30am when i get up for work. Getting used to putting on damp clothes from the wardrobe. Here are the last of the piccies of my little piece of heaven...i must have done some good in a previous life to have been allowed to find this place. MOLL.

targa 5
it looks great, but i wouldn't fancy mowing that lawn!!! Got an idea: put a fence around it, keep a couple terriers there, and in a week it look's more natural

socks 32,253
moll being welsh i know all about coal fires ... last thing at night bank your fire up with all the small coal and dust and leave it burn on slow .... first thing in the morning move your slider to open up the fire and when you see flames start to flicker put on the normal lumps ........
