jakeuk1 0
Well i have just returned from my first trip after wildfowl, on a wash near Welney. after dragging my body out of bed at 4:30 driving down to the wash, stumbling to take position in the darkness, waiting in the freezing cold. What the feck am I doing here? i thought.......and im sure my spaniel was thinking the same! After a while I heard strange noises filling the sky, the lads i was with were shooting into the sky, i couldnt see anything and those i did see were too quick for my slow reactions!!! I fired a couple of shots and hit nothing!!! But i dont regret the trip, infact i cant wait to go back in jan!!! Its addictive this wildfowling aint it

Duck Down 98 0
wildfowling is addictive, you can get cold wet and absolutely covered in sh~t but you still always want to go back, i still say its probably the hardest form of shooting as you need to no your tides wind conditions and general knowledge of the area you shoot to be able to get a good flight, i've been wildfowling since i was 11 with my dad and il do it till the day i die. I LOVE IT!!
