arveyboy 0
was talking to my old man this evening and he was saying that his dad my grandfather (who has stopped shooting now) is in possession of one of a pair of holland and hollands. apparently my uncle owns the other one but my dad gave up shooting for a while and gave it to my grandpa. my grandpa, being odd shoots with his right eye on his left shoulder so he had the stock bent. hopefully, it will be returned to a regular stock soon so that my old man can have it back. can't wait to see it was just wondering whether anyone had the privelege of owning one or a pair. thought it was an interesting piece of information to only just find out about considering i've been shooting and have enjoyed shooting for quite a while now hopefully i'll post a few pictures when it arrives Quote Link to post

pointer28 1
Funny that your last reply. I was just about to say that you wouldn't see too many Holland & Holland's out decoying. Glorious piece of craftsmanship though, would be my No. 1 choice anyday (after I will the Lotto) Quote Link to post
Sterry 0
my uncle has a hand made smerton made and fitted to him from scratch, thats a really nice gun i can only gorp at what a holland and holland would be like. i dont understand all these rich and famous sniffin up all their cash id be straight down to holland and holland for a pair of game guns. At the CLA game fair i couldnt help myself wandering in the H&H tent, the blokes were soo friendly and approachable even let me swing a "Royale" around very very nice gun. Quote Link to post
