lofti 579
Heres a few piccys of me and my first lurcher, cant belive it was 17yr ago!!! Before her coursing days i would take her fereting ,lamping and putting up day time rabbits in local feilds which she did very well at, i even had a few hares with her on the moors at the back were we lived. When she was about 18 month old my hunting mates dad took me to Linconshire to see my dog run on the big fields ,he was the owner of the farther to my dog and was a very keen coursing man and was very intrested to see her run. thats were she then later got her name the rammy rocket because the village we lived is called Ramsbottom she nearly always retrieved her hares(depending how far away),jumped 5 bar gates and dykes with ease she many times caught 5 out of 5 single handed she was saluki xgrey deerhoundxgrey and a very clever dog. at the time a didnt like the black and white photos and wished theyd been done in colour, but quite like them now. so heres a few piccys of me and my Jess when i was 16.. hope you like them peeps all the best, lofti.. courser 73
I bought her off you and she certainly was a great bitch. She (Jess, the Rammy Rocket) ran for me for four seasons and never let me down. A lot of the dog lads knew when I had her and she had a terrific rep. I wish I had her now. There are still some good dogs bred down from her, still matching. Quote Link to post
