stubby 175
public liability is the best permission gainer I know, if you join one of the many clubs SACS is a good one as it covers you for everything, then when you phone a golf course, you can quote that you have public liability, this tells them straight away your not some chav with a rifle wanting to shoot anything that moves, also arm yourself with some info, have you walked the golf course to see if they have problems with warrens, rabbits may well be coming from a neighbouring farm/field, rather than the golf course, being able to point out they have a problem with rabbits in a certain area, shows you know whats what, rather than jumping straight in with wanting shooting rights, try asking for permission to ferret first, even if you dont keep ferts, surely you could find a member close to you that does, a couple of trips later, you can remark to the groundsman, that such and such an area cant be ferreted because of the brambles?, but you could lamp them at night with an air rifle to help them out preparation is the key to gaining permission
