Where to set Bodygrips ?

Help!

I've just got 20 body grip traps of ebay for £40!

I'm not sure where to set them ! if any one could tell me (pics would be great) I would be over the moon !

Body Grippers for £2 each? I wonder where they were made?

 

You will find they will fall apart in no time at all, and more importantly, they are not approved for use in the UK. The Spring Trap Approval Orders name the makes and models of trap, and the species they can be used for.

 

There is a very good (although dated) video available called 'Body Gripper Basics' which gives some great ideas for sets. It also 'stars' our very own 'Chalkwarren' and 'Snareman'. Failing that, have a search on youtube.

The BMI Magnum Bodygrip is approved under the STAO 1995.

I really wana get em set a.s.a.p cos I need some Rabbits!! I cant find any videos on youtube so i neeed some help a.s.a.p !!!

before you think about setting any body grips, dont forget you need a tunnel of some sort either mesh or something natural that is good enough to protect non target species from getting caught.

Also you will need to work out what you are going to use to support the traps in there set position.

I made a tunnel out of mesh with a door on one end not sure how to support the traps.

would my tunnel work if i put the open end in frount of a rabbit hole ?

You dont need any door on the end, just fold some mesh high enough to allow the trap to activate around 8 inches tall, and to be on the safe side make your tunnel 18inches long no door
