woolbr8stl 0 Posted March 19, 2006 Report Share Posted March 19, 2006 Hi all, I've been posting some hunting stories, thought I'd finally post an intro I am from Missouri and have kept russells since 98, I currently have 4. Although the US is a sprawling place from coast to coast, I am lucky to have about a dozen friends that live from 30 minutes to 4 hours from me and we hunt about 2-3 times a month during our seasons that run from May - Feb. The area I live in is perfect for digging and quarry. Our digs average around 3 ft, but can vary from 2-8 ft. We hunt Groundhog, raccoons, opossums and the occassional fox. We kill every skunk we can Our settes tend to be on the small size, so I prefer a dog from the 10 to 12" range. Here are a couple of pictures of the dogs I keep My little bitch, almost 11" tall My new young pup, just 8 mos, I'll be starting him next season.
