I set a few snares and a few bodygrips when the floods went down the day before yesterday.The pictures shows the big dog mink in a snare and still alive this morning.I also found some bitch mink tracks so ive left a couple of wires set......

AS A POULTRY KEEPER , I ALWAYS SMILE WHEN I SEE ONE LESS OF THE FECKIN THINGS .

 

REMEMBER QUITE A FEW YEARS AGO , I GOT A FRANTIC PHONE CALL FROM MY BROTHER , A FERRET HAD BEEN RUN OVER AND KNOCKED OUT ON THE ROAD OUTSIDE HIS HOME .SO HE WAS ON HIS WAY UP TO MINE WITH THE FERRET IN A CARD BOARD BOX .....I OPENED IT UP AND OUT POPS A MINKS HEAD ...I VERY NEARLY SHIT MESELF ....CALLED THE TERRIER OVER AND SHOOK IT OUT ON THE FLOOR ...... WHERE THE TERRIER SHAKES IT ALL OVER . OUR KID TAKES THE HORRERS AND WE START HAVING A BIT ROLL ABOUT ON THE DECK AS WELL ..... GOT HIM CALMED DOWN WHEN IN A HEAD LOCK FOR 1/2 HOUR

 

ONE THING PEG ............. I THOUGHT YOU MIGHT HAVE USED A SRING SNARE ON THAT RUN ....... FROM THE PHOTO IT SEEMS TO BE A NORMAL TYPE OF SNARE ??

They arent normal snares Duckwing.They are made to spring onto the Minks neck as soon as it touches the noose.The snares are highly loaded and only has to be touched to fire
