stealthy1 3,964
Does anyone remeber Jack Hargreaves? I used to watch him as a kid, loved his programs, very passionate about the countryside and the people that lived in it. Has any of his programs been put on to DVD? neil cooney 10,416
He used to be on on a Saturday morning, 11 o clock. I used to tell my hunting partner I could go out 'till 11.30 but never told him it was because I was watching T.V. No videos in those days. Fond memories.
kevegg 0
Does anyone remeber Jack Hargreaves? I used to watch him as a kid, loved his programs, very passionate about the countryside and the people that lived in it. Has any of his programs been put on to DVD? All have mate 9 dvd's Unfortunately they haven't all been put on DVD. According to the book 'Jack Hargreaves-A Portrait' by Paul Peacock an awful lot have been destoyed never to be seen again. It's a shame. Wouldn't it be good to see 'Out Of Town' back on TV now. The book is worth a read if you're interested in Jack. Kev. Incidentally 'Out Of Town' was launched in 1960. The National Film Archive preserved two episodes so that "when they finally cover Britain in concrete, they will have something to remind them of what it was all about".
