WELSH LAMPING COMP

I would like to join the competition, :rolleyes: Im in the south wales area, I know that pork chop would be up for it too! I think wife may have a pop at this too he is from the south wales area too. Anyway this is the dog ill be using Ryfud grey x collie x bull,he is 13 months old and 25inc to the shoulder a bit big but he can back it up. :yes:

Early pace Ha Ha trust me mate this dog has had alot of time and effort spent on him! I work full time and I must admit I havent been spending as much time with him as I have been doing (work) :wallbash: Theres not mant rabbits about now where we live so look out west wales!m :drinks::D

hows it bred its sturdy enough,,well looked after a credit to th owner :yes:

have you tried him on big stubble feilds on hares etc or any were to test his runing stamina bud nice dog

To be totally honest with you whin no! I live in the valleys and the mountains are very steep where the hares are and there are no fields flat enough to run him,! Even the rabbits around are thin (too many hunters ha ha ). I have been offered by some of the english boys to put him on the hares over there but due to work it has been a bit awkward, so im just trying to keep on his fitness and trying to let him be a pup, ive got plenty of time so sometime after christmas I will be going to west wales where I have got some land and there some hares about and its a bit flatter. So to be totally honest with you I dont know what he will be like on a hare! :unsure:

mmmmmmm, maybe interested, problem is, the ground i have for lamping has hardly any rabbits and none of it is local its mostly hereford,ross,worcester way, but if someone can sort out enough ground with plenty of rabbits and i can somehow sort out transport ill be interested, if i do enter ill be running a lurcher to lurcher bitch, 23/24 tts 4 year old (nicknamed dyson lol) onlu joking by the way shes half decent though :big_boss:
