undisputed 1,664
Not sure if its mange or not....there are two types of mange folicle mange is harder to treat than the more common variety which responds to the benzo treatment. The flakey stuff could be dead skin caused by the bushing or it may be diet the only way to know for sure is a trip to the vet Quote Link to post
dfee 1
heres a few pics and one of the dog cheers dirtdog i would still give benzo a try and a jab of penaccilin or anti biotics.no harm in trying.why is taking him to the vets a no no,dog doesnt look that bad to me.good luck. undisputed 1,664
Unless the dog is ill or has an infection of some kind Anti-biotics are pointless Quote Link to post

BROCKFOX 1
I can highly recommend this product EKONEEM http://www.ekoneem.com/ its all natural and lasts for ever and is also a excellent price per pot I think its only drawback is the smell  but there again owning terriers im sure we've all encountered worse smells Quote Link to post
TOPPER 1,809
give the dog a bath with coal tar shampoo or one with zinc perithirate in it [ most dandruff shampoos ] then treat it with benzo and leave it on this should do the trick , benzo will also stimulate the hair folicule to grow , its good for thin coats over a few months it will thicken them up well Quote Link to post
