trojan 0
i have flown harrises for about 7 years i recently bought a male having always flown females.the problem i have is that this bird who started flying free 3 weeks ago has started blanking me when free.his flying weight was 620g and was very responsive then he decided just to sit in a tree and completely ignore me so i thought i would drop him to 610g after three sessions of him ignoring me but he is still unresponsive, any ideas?have never had this problem with females. SPAR 2
I had the same trouble about a week or two ago with a female I put it down to the weather. After messing around with her weight and coming well at 2lb 2oz she slowly lost interest so decided to drop her a tad, she was about a week ago 1. 1/2oz under her hunting weight still the same so desided to feed her up and go back to basic's she now coming like a train at 2lb 3oz dont be fooled by this just because they seem over-weight they will also do the same under-weight. SPAR 2
one of the reason's I done this is because she looked like she wanted to self-hunt as I have plenty of game about it was something I didn't want to happen. Quote Link to post
