forget that idea mate, they're not an endangered species, the ferry isn't cheap and theres plenty of dogs over here

After being offered cash for it i'd have kept a closer eye on the dog for a while. like kept in the house.

Hope u get the dog back i had mine stolen by travellers last year i was lucky and got them back the best thing to do is get some posters put up near u i put mine in all the local shops and petrol station also its a good idea to get in contact with doglost good luck!

set of w**kers,i wont have any at the house,got pups at the moment and fed up of them phoning, fishing to find our whereabouts and asking if weve any older dogs for sale,yes of course we f***ING have, ive bred, reared, cared for and trained all of our dogs just for you pricks to buy for a few quid because you just cant be bothered to do it yourself,A freind of ours has had his dogs stolen twice now through having them at the house once,he keeps them in the house,its such a shame anybody could do this,the only dogs i keep outside are the bull terriers i know theyd do the buisness if anyone came over the fence,ive bought cameras, razor wire, the best padlocks and seriously had 6 lazer connections to the higher fence perimeter which are fantastic had all the dogs microchipped and tattoed and i sell pups from the parents house and thats all because of dog theives it may seem extreme to others but its not to me i think that if everybodt went to these lenths it would make it harder for the b****rds (for a lenthly period)to take them,all the best in getting your dog back i realy hope it works out, all the best

I agree it may not have been travelers. But when my dad's lurcher went missing last year it was suspicious that the morning after the travelers had moved on too. specially since he lives on west coast where all the locals knew the dog.

A good dog is a bloody hard thing to replace, in more ways than one!

had my dogs chawed (pinched) 2 yera ago. next day phone call :

Q: have you lost ur dogs a: you know i have cause you took erm Q: r they worth £ 500 to you A: Iant paying for my own dogs back. go drop erm in the pound do me a faver Q: YOU WHAT ! ? A: you hang on to erm all the boys ( coursing men ) know my two bitches so ill be able to track you down when some 1 sees erm run.

cut along story short next day thanks to some good traveller friends and relations of mine they where droped off to the police.

NEVER PAY ! how ever good the dog (and them two were real erns) its a matter of principle AND IF YOU PAY THELL KEEP DOING IT!

REMBER THERES GOOD AND BAD PEOPLE IN EVERY RACE not just thieving pikeys.
