a few rabbits on the beam

Recommended Posts

well i was away again for some sport up into the cumbrian hills longdogrunner was also out and i placed him on a farm a few miles from where we were so as not to bother each other i never heard from him again so dont know how he fared but he will probably put a post up tommorow.

any way my friend darren wanted to give his saluki x a few rabbits to get her into shape so he brought her along for a few runs she did well considering she is not a lamp dog putting a few nice rabbits away with some stunning runs and strikes :D, for this reason typp was again allowed to run the majority of the rabbits and again he was on good form taking sitters if they stayed put and running some good rabbits .we worked together across the fields picking out rabbits that had ventured far enough out for the dog to have a chance and the majority paid the price with their lives , after the first two fields we had fifteen rabbits off loaded at the car and went back into a large 40 acre field and typp took nine rabbits from there we worked steady away and after typp had three more he succumed to a minor injury which cut short the night at ten fifteen pm we had thirty six rabbits time for home :) another good nights sport running in paddy fields :o
