i have a 15 month old beddie/greyhound x whippet, fit and very keen, took her lamping on saterday with one of her sisters,

alternate runs 8/10 each, on the way home my dog started holding back on the slip tail and bum tucked in and was having trouble walking. i was obviously very worried and i started to carry her she didn't seem to be in any pain, at one point she shook quite strongly for 2/3 minuets, when i got her home i put her on her bed went to get here a drink and when i got back to her she was sat up cleaning her paws, almost as if nothing had happened, took her to the vets today for check up vet gave her a clean bill of health. any advice appreciated.

If it is a build up of lactic acid it basically means that the bitch has over exerted herself, make sure she is fit enough to do what you ask her to do.That's the best way to fix it,prevention is better than treatment.
