hi ther i am thinking of getting a laky but what would you say ther working ability is like

 

i have fell type dogs and fancy a change of breed and colour

are they as head strong as black dogs or do they use ther heads to think

i have seen lots of good looking lakeys but never seen one that looks as tho it has worked a day befor

some photos and good blood lines of pure dogs would be nice

what is wrong with your fells?? changing for colour is madness if your dogs are working ,if it aint broke dont fix it, IMO

both retiared naw

the bitch i have retiared naw and her uncle wich lives with a man with 1 wooden leg and pisses up it all the time

 

 

 

my bich on the left is broke she will never work again hole in her palet struggles to breath and the vet said i could risk looseing her if she worked to ground agian mate so i thourt i would try a change

and the dog i have naw will never make the grade of a true earhth dog

i have nothing against black dogs mate all for them just would like to see how some thing els proformed for me and if it dose not make the grade then at least it can be some ones lapdog or ferriting dog

heres my current lakeland,6.find they can be head strong but good workers in general.why change your line though if your current stuff works for you.

a friend of mine swears by the lakeland iv offten dug him a great sounder with a smart head on him

Lakelands can be just as headstrong as black dogs.. I once had a lakeland who was a good worker but would fight with other dogs as soon as you turned your back. I had to get rid of her because she liked the sheep. Sunday past we dug to friends lakeland and he is some tool. Mixes it up and you only ever have to dig once
