In England you may well struggle...N Ireland no idea..probably best to simply ask your firearms dept for their opinion! Quote Link to post

My first bit of permission was on 4 acres of land but had good backstop so my permission was granted for a .22lr and a .223 rem. Quote Link to post

Now that's the way it should be..forget the size and look at the topography...but I have to say round my way you would not stand and ice cube in hell chance of getting a .22LR and a .223Rem on 4 acres even if the backstop was a sheer rock face!!
