shanehound 2 Posted October 28, 2008 Report Share Posted October 28, 2008 i course hare wit deer/grey great vision and brains no problem doing 2 minutes r so on the back of a hare not the best striker has missed a good few hares by diving at her hare but has always held her own wit various other crosses i also course pure deerhounds whom xcel on long courses over rough open ground rock heather and bog i have a bitch whose grand sire is coronach pennys chieftain and has taken good few hare and odd fox on such ground single handedim in the same boat as shane,i have a 2 year old deer/grey bitch and she has stuck to the back of a hare for 2 minutes + and caught it,she had 3 from 4 daytime this season,i heard the ground is pretty rough down your way shane? pretty wild alright lloyd are they alan c...... first crosses glad to hear doining well good freind of mine Quote Link to post

HH had 3 lads from ireland over doing some hunting with us, the photos are of the day. the irish lads where very impressed with our whippets though id have to say by there own honest admission more shocked. they later said they didnt think these dogs would be up to the task.goes to show you learn somethin new every day. mike brown bred.
