it just has to be rabbit skin, air dryed out on a rack or some thing, a fresh one would rot and attract maggots and flys and all sorts of nasty stuff.

 

 

Thats it ,I peg it out on a board, rub salt in and let it dry out, then stitch it round ordinary dummy.
Cheers guys, I guessed as much but wondered if people used fresh and changed it (a lot! :blink: )
