prometheus pellets

Any body actually used prometheus pellets and if so how they find them, Are they heavy, what are they like at grouping and what do they find the penatration like, i was talking to my father about it and he said he used to swear by the old ones his mate was using his old HW80 tuned to 21ft/lb and he shot a hare at around 60 yards he recons on a train track which he had permission on we are saying a goot 20 years ago and it kept running for about 30 yards and droped tone cold dead he shot it throught the chest.

so would be interesting how nowa days prometheus pellets are doing and what you think of them, Thanks Adam

They are the most useless, overpriced, inaccurate, barrel screwing up, energy wasting pellet, you would ever want to give to your worst enemy.....

 

But it must be 10 years since I last used then as they were so awful..

 

Just my opinion...things may have changed ..but I think not!!

I tryed these things once and found all of what people say above to be true as well as the silly plastic skirts get ripped off in a 12ft/lb rifle Just stick to a good quality lead pellet that your gun prefers

The skirts either rip off or get damaged easily and make the accuracy suck. The hardened tips mangle the lands of the rifling in a relatively short amount of rounds, meaning that any pellet fired afterwards..... even quality stuff like AA diablo field etc, will be inaccurate and unpredictable

 

not to mention its expensive as feck

the plastic pellets were cr*p, to light to shoot in any kind of wind and so light that they put my TX200 over the legal limit, but the company now makes some very good lead pellets so im told!

i've tryed the pilledrivers not bad at all a bit of weight to them as well the bunnys dont no a thing just lights out for them
